The whole trials thing is such a beat up. One of our best games was round 1 vs the cows, we actually had a crack despite losing. Khawaja converted from tests to T20 great, he is seeing the ball really well.

They went with green because green was the jersey colour of a local team. They went with lime because that was a colour of the couch that was in the office. The yellow, white and blue are ACT colours?

That is correct... the idea was they'd "raid" Sydney every second week. and now the Raiders feeder club is based in Sydney lol Thanks GE! pretty amazing that I can ask a question like that to a specific person on a forum during an off season and it gets answered in 10 minutes.. They were inspired by the Oakland Raiders and also because Canberra Raiders were the first non-Sydney team to take part in NSWRL, so they were 'Raiders'

Most sports have their transfer window for the following season mid year and after the current season finishes don't they?
Gee the NRL is off the pace

There are even transfer windows in RLL Live because they recognise it makes more sense / gives more structure.

I think Manly will sign another half before round 1, they were after Mitchell Pearce for a bit there.. even though that was before their salary cap drama I think this will be the case. from memory L Croker was nabbed after he wasn't offered a contract extension at Raiders, it's not like they offered...
