How are you going in the consolation cup Dogg?

This was always going to be a rebuilding year Nicko....

You'll be one of those teams that always comes 4-6th but never does anything. Like North Melbourne. They can't bottom out because that'll send them broke.

I'm here for the long haul and building from the ground up.

You can always do a North Melbourne next year and scrape into the finals only to get absolutely pumped off the park.

So halfway through the semi-finals, the Colts have a slender lead over the All-Stars 5-4-0 and Josh Miller's Dog leads O'Reilley's Red State 5-4-0.

Interesting week ahead.

Marko will take over Luffty's team.

What an upset it will be if JMD knocks off O'Reilly's Rednecks.

Rod - it's not really an upset. He did this in the NFL. Lead all year and then fell in a heap when it mattered.

It's his trademark.

Pretty good effort considering how you built your team (Rondo / Andy V).

I totally forgot that I drafted Rondo.

I was looking at my team the other day and thinking, "Who the **** did I take with my second pick?"

I'm noticeably short on star-power. The role players have been carrying me these last few weeks.

Yea it's pretty commendable what Rod's done with the squad given what's happened to his stars.

I cant believe it... 2nd comp on the GH ive entered the play offs as #1 seed, only to be bundled out the backdoor without fuss in week 1!

If I manage to keep this lead against the All Stars, I will be going into the final on a 6 game winning streak and would have beaten Red States, JMD and All Stars all in consecutive weeks. :thumbsup

Just out of interest, is next years draft order randomized again or based on this years win/loss records so that the worse teams get higher picks?

I vote for win/loss records. Given it is a Dynasty League, that is fair.

You went hard on the Dwight / Rondo strategy - dominate a few categories, punt FT % and TO etc and then lost a pretty important part of that strategy.

My draft was ****. Granger - zero games for the Dingoes. Wall - not really much. Andrew Bynum - zero games. Steve Nash - zero games for me. Crash Wallace - awful.

Got some good keepers, but was never going to win this year.

I dropped Granger after a while. He used to be a Fantasy beast, especially in Roto. Threes, steals, blocks, %'s etc.

I kept Bynum because it is a keeper league. He has the potential to be anything. Sadly, he will probably never get there because he has a **** attitude.

I agree it is probably fair in a dynasty league. Draft order would be

Irwinfletch
Luffty (Schifty)
Shezza
KW (Michael)
Rod
Millsy
Sublime
Nick

Also, my keepers were picked in rounds 1,2,3,5,9 does that mean I lose my draft pick in those rounds next year, or do I just miss the first 5 rounds no matter where I drafted them last year?

What we will do is everyone nominates the 5 they want to keep.

Then we will draft based on the order that Sublime has proposed, but only players not nominated by each player will be available. Since I'm the GM and I manually assign the players that seems like the easiest way to do it, unless anyone has a better suggestion??

Yeah. I also bought the hype about Rondo being a MVP-candidate this year from Simmons. It made so much sense, until the games started and Rondo remained the non-shooting pricktease that he's always been. Serves me right for drafting a Celtic.

I'm really unsure what I will do with Gordon. He has the potential to be a Fantasy stud, but watching him miss so many games for the second straight season that I've carried him is wearing very thin.

With 5 games left in the matchup tomorrow morning, I am winning 8-0-1 with the drawn cat being 333 rebounds each.

Could be a rare 9-0 win for the Colts. :)

Good luck in the Final SLG and Rodman, may the best team win.

Thanks for a fun season guys, look forward to having another crack at it next season, hopefully we have 8 active teams which will make the comp better.

My keepers are set for the time being, D-Will, Lillard, Melo, Love and D-Rose.

:(

Thanks for the season. We had a couple of ridiculously close match-ups during the season, but you were a bit unlucky towards the end of the year with injuries.

My keepers at the moment are set as Lebron James, Steph Curry, Serge Ibaka, LaMarcus Aldridge and Mike Conley.

Best of luck for the final Rod. :thumbsup
