Attitude is the major thing. The rest will look after itself after that.

Defence.
Game management.
Repeat sets.
Alternative attacking plays.
Hell... a set play *full stop*.
General kicking game.
Bench use, timings esp.
Forwards workrate.
Errors.
Dumb penalties.
Fast play the balls.
Winning the ruck - which includes 'playing the ruck game' with the refs.
Roster depth.

Did i miss anything?

Application. If it was top 8 in the league we would win it.

Every aspect of their game needs to improve..

Lazy inside defence, poor kicking game, ball security...that'll do for now.

Coaching, Recruitment, fitness and conditioning, mental preparation and attitude, too many stupid meaningless strips, and the list goes on

The basics.....in defence the need line speed and to win the ruck

In attack forwards need to run and hit it on the advantage line and win the ruck....the rest of the attack will be sweet

Right side defence is the obvious one. Ball security is second IMO.

Forwards waiting for ball runners to come to them instead of moving up to stop the close to the advantage line is my personal bugbear. Oppositions would gain 30-40 metres in successive plays because of this.
Some people talk about the weather. Others do something about it.

I’d love for our team to be competing relentlessly and ruthlessly on every play.

I’m hopeful and quietly confident that two guys I believe will feature on our bench will have a good impact on the team (Gubb & Knight)

Ricky to use our bench rotation better

2018: 1. Wighton 2. Cotric 3. Croker (c) 4. Leiluia 5. Rapana 6. Austin 7. Sezer 8. Paulo 9. Garvey 10. Boyd 11. Papalii 12. Tapine 13. Whitehead ----
14. Williams 15. Soliola 16. Knight 17. Gubb

Concentrate on the process and the result will take care of itself...

I know it's a cliche, but they just need to get the Little Things Right. An extra 5% in a few key games would have made all the difference on the ladder at the end of the season, at least getting us to the finals, and the boost in confidence from grinding out some of the tough games might have boosted us enough to get us through the finals.

That said, I think most teams would have struggled against the $torm.
